About the Practitioner

My family and I have owned and operated Smith’s Pleasant Valley Family Campground on the Mohican River for the past 20 years.

In 2004, I became a Reiki Master studying under William Rand at The International Center for Reiki Training – Southfield, Michigan.  I decided to further my training in the winter of 2005/2006 and became an Associate Polarity Practitioner – APP - Ohio Institute of Energetic Studies – Columbus, Ohio. 

January of 2007 I decided to enroll full time in the 1200 hour Associate of Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy program at the Ohio College of Massotherapy.  During my education there, I received certifications in Upper & Lower Myofascial Release, 5 certifications in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy: Spine & Thorax, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Head & Neck and Form & Function Analysis & Assessment.  I also completed on my own time Upledger Institute’s 32 hour Craniosacral I class.  I graduated in December 2009 from OCM. I passed my Massage Medical Boards in June 2010 becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Ohio.

February 2010, while I was waiting to take my Massage Medical Boards, I decided to enroll in the full time 750 hour Esthetics's program at the Salon Group – The SPA School, Columbus, Ohio.  I graduated in August 2010 and passed my Cosmetology State Boards in September 2010.  I am now a Licensed Esthetician Therapist.

In September 2010 I continued my education by testing and becoming a nationally certified massage therapist with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

January 2011, I started working for Dr. Diane Emser, D.C. 419-281-9450 1280 Thomas Dr. Ashland, OH 44805.  I did 2 years of therapeutic massage at her office.

October 2011 I  became licensed in the state of Florida for Massage and Esthetic's.

April 2012 I have become a CCT - Certified Cupping Therapist with the International Cupping Therapy Association

I am currently studying  massage for fibromyalgia and Ortho Bionomy.
